2021 Recap
A little late in the year, I know, but as I’ve finished my studies (for now…maybe not forever) I wanted to remind myself how grateful I am to have the life I do. Studying media & enterprise at honours level last year, creating a business blueprint that I can continue working on and developing, working with clients and amazing, talented individuals made doing the extra year so worth it. More student debt and another piece of paper is nothing compared to the experience I had and everything I learnt.
Along with uni, I completely forgot how many trips I was able to go on in 2021 for work, despite the uncertainty of COVID. If you know me, you know I have like a (well…more like 3 or 4) different jobs. I’m extremely grateful I get to travel around Australia for various work. It’s something I always dreamed of since I was a kid. One to Whyalla, two Darwin trips, one Sydney and one Tasmania trip all crammed into the year between studying and other work. I’m lucky to be a part of the best workplaces with my favourite people.
Being part of the Adelaide Fringe took a lot of my time at the beginning of the year with rehearsals, tech runs, behind the scenes work and SHOWS! Two weeks of sold out shows…….! This has to be one of my favourite experiences of 2021 for sure and I’m so excited to do it all over again in Sept 2022.
Often I would go day to day at work, making videos, planning uni projects and not even thinking about it until I eventually looked back and realised how much I was able to achieve and how much I absolutely LOVED it.
2021 was a blast. We’re 2/3 of the way through 2022 and I know I’ll be thinking exactly the same thing at the end of this year.
